"Kevin Notes" is my screenplay and stage play development reading service. One of my functions in my Hollywood studio years was to read scripts and write development notes for producers and executives. Once I began directing, these skills were invaluable in helping to develop new plays with the writers I worked with. I also served for two seasons as the Artistic Director of the Scriptwriters' Network Staged Reading Service, where I developed and directed staged readings of new screenplays. The Scriptwriter's Network was a screenwriters' group based out of Universal Studios in Studio City, CA.
If you're a playwright or screenwriter, I can help pinpoint where you go off track in your plotting, structure or character development. This will help you focus your creativity so you can discover the best solution to fulfill your vision of your project. If you're a busy development executive, producer or director - I can do coverage/analysis of those submissions you don't have time to get to but need a response. I can also do draft comparisons to help you track script changes as you shepherd your project to the point where it is ready for production.
